Chinese blue-on-white porcelain bowl, Qing Dynasty, ex-17th-century Chinese wreck. 304 grams. 5¼" diameter; 2¼" deep. Brown and black painted wispy floral designs against a taupe high-gloss glaze, some old crazing, small void in base where thick glaze missing, probably as made. From an unidentified 17th-century Chinese wreck off the Riau Islands in the South China Sea, with photo-certificate A00285 from the salvors.
