COSTA RICA, San José, uncut pair of 1000 colones reverses paired with Venezuela, Banco Central, 10 bolívares obverse underprints dated 18-3-1986, rare, PMG. Pick-256a (Costa Rica), 61a (Venezuela). Fascinating TDLR printer's scrap or test sheet featuring parts of two different country's bank notes combined into one note! We've offered a single note of the same type twice before, but this is our first time seeing an uncut pair. Heavily embossed printing with vivid ink colors, small smear of ink at top left corner and penned numbers on the back. Highly unusual piece and quite rare.
