COLOMBIA, Cartagena, copper provisional 2 reales, 1813, PCGS MS61 Brown, finest known in PCGS census, ex-Margolis. Restrepo-136.2; Cal-unl; KM-D1. Choice example with all details visible on both sides (especially the 1813 date), including most of both rims, deep reddish brown color all over, well centered and devoid of doubling, the sole MS example among eight entries in the PCGS census. Pedigreed to the Richard Margolis Collection (Stack's Bowers auction of October 2024, lot 74069).
