COLOMBIA, Bogotá, gold cob 2 escudos, Charles II, assayer not visible (ARCE to left), NGC MS 62 (1715 Fleet 300th Anniversary Find Shipwreck Label). Restrepo-M66; S-B24; KM-14.2; Cal-Type 151; Fr-4. 6.7 grams. Like the previous lot, this coin's full shield (slightly crude from die-rust) shows a transposed upper half, but it also has an upside-down Flanders-Tirol (attributable to 1695-96), plus outside the full cross can be seen a bold upside-down M in HISPANIARVM, all on a smallish and somewhat oblong flan with much luster. From the 1715 Fleet "300th Anniversary Find," with Sedwick photo-certificate.
