Bronze swivel-cannon, probably from the Dutch East Indies, 1700s, with ornate mahogany stand. 67 lb. 29" long, up to 6" in diameter. A classic original cannon in perfect size for portable display, with 1½" bore, 1¼" trunnions, and 2" cascabel, prominent touch-hole, dark bronze color with lovely patina, the yoke and ornate stand (approx. 12" x 12" x 8") from a later period but ideal for showing off this lovely piece. Pedigreed to Sedwick Auction 10 (lot 1351), with photo-certificate. Pickup or special delivery only.
