Bronze hull-pin inside large piece of wood. 4 lb, 14½" x 9" x 3". A significant section of the ship's hull, the worm-eaten wood clinging to a round bronze rod, with lots of barnacles and loose sediment, just as it was found. Recovered from: Consolación, sunk in 1681 off Santa Clara Island, Ecuador. With certificate.
