Brass sword-scabbard belt-hanger, 1700s, found in Boston harbor. 65 grams; 7" long. Wonderfully intact (does not appear salvaged), designed in three parts: trifid loop; diamond-shaped connector with checkerboard pattern of diamond-shaped holes; and simple, long hook. With photo-certificate from the salvager.
