Brass powder-flask spout and base (two pieces), ex-Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724). 117 grams total. Flask is 2½" long and base is 2¼" in diameter. The leather bag long gone, what remains are a simple, deeply patinated spout and base, no ornamentation but clearly recognizable as the important parts of a powder and shot flask. From the Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic and copy of the article "Graveyard of the Quicksilver Galleons" by Mendel Peterson from the December 1979 issue of National Geographic.
