Bogota, Colombia, pillar 1 real, Charles III, 1760JV, very rare, NGC UNC details / holed, finest known in NGC census, Restrepo Plate. Restrepo-36.1; KM-34; Cal-499. Brightly lustrous (almost prooflike) with minimal marks and no wear, choice full rims, no toning, the hole somewhat internal and possibly done at the mint, one of just two in the NGC census (the other VF details / graffiti and hammered in our Auction 25 for $3900). NGC #5938639-022. Pedigreed to the Nueva Granada collection and plated on page 112 of Restrepo's Coins of Colombia (2012) (stated on label).
