Bogota, Colombia, gold cob 2 escudos, Philip IV, assayer not visible (R below denomination II to right), mintmark NR to left, NGC UNC details / removed from jewelry / Jupiter (Shipwreck Blue Label). Restrepo-M50.25; S-B21; KM-4.1; Cal-Type 386. 6.70 grams. Very small, thick flan with clear mintmark NR to left of full shield (assayer to right off the flan), bold full cross (well centered), the first gold cob we have offered from this wreck for 15 auctions, with only two others sold prior. With original photo-certificate from the salvors. Recovered from: "Jupiter Wreck" (San Miguel el Arcangel), sunk in 1659 off the east coast of Florida
