Bogota, Colombia, cob 8 reales, (16)28P, date at bottom, lions and castles transposed in shield and cross, very rare, ex-von Schuckmann. Restrepo-M44.6a; S-B4; KM-3.3; CT-518. 22.31 grams. Well-detailed full cross and shield, the latter with full •N•R•P• to left and •VIII• to right, also good full crown, the reverse with legend rotated 180 degrees, showing the bottom of the 2 and full 8 of the date at about 5 o'clock as a result, VF+ with crude edge (cracks and possible broken-off pieces), desirable pedigree. Pedigreed to the Siegfried von Schuckmann collection (Renaissance December 2001, lot 3108).
