Bogota, Colombia, cob 2 escudos, Philip IV, assayer not visible (A), dots outside bars of cross (distinctive design of 1639[?]), second specimen known, encapsulated NGC AU 58. Restrepo-M50-19; S-B20; KM-4.1. 6.7 grams. Nice full shield but off-center cross, distinctive design that Restrepo attributes to 1639 without any specific proof, in any case clearly not in the range of 1667-93 as erroneously stated inside the slab.
