Bogota, Colombia, cob 2 escudos, Philip IV, assayer R to right (early 1650s), from the Maravillas (1656), mounted in 18K gold pendant bezel in the shape of a turtle. S-B21; KM-4.1. 22.3 grams total. Excellent full shield and cross (AU or better), with bold denomination and assayer, mounted shield-side up in one of the more eye-catching (yet still tasteful) pendants we have seen (designed in the Cayman Islands), the coin immobilized but not damaged.
