Broad flan, full shield and cross, bottom half of 3 of date, lustrous Mint State with sharp edges, desirable pedigree. From the 1715 Fleet, and pedigreed to the Thomas Ruck auction of 2003 ("Tampa sale") and the Bob "Frogfoot" Weller collection, with special certificate and copy of his book True Stories of Sunken Treasure, in which the provenance is explained.
