Bogota, Colombia, cob 2 escudos, 1706, no assayer (Arce), ex-1715 Fleet, mounted cross-side out in double 18K gold bezel with 35 diamonds (Smith's of Cayman). 19.18 grams total. Full but crude cross (mounted in X orientation), nearly full shield, XF/AU or so, in a typically ostentatious display of diamonds and multi-level gold bezeling for additional prominence, large round bail for a heavy chain. From the 1715 Fleet, with Smith's of Cayman photo-certificate from 1988.
