Bogota, Colombia, cob 1/4 real, Ferdinand VI, no assayer, lion facing right (ca. 1751), very rare. Restrepo-unl; KM-unl; Cal-Type 9. 0.74 gram. XF or better, with corded border visible above the bold full castle and around the crude lion (both off-center), the castle and lion punches matching known 8E (gold) of 1751 (no records in Barriga-Villalba between 1748 and 1755), in particular the right-facing lion. Pedigreed to the Gran Colombia collection.
