Bogota, Colombia, cob 1/2 real, Philip V, assayer S, mintmark F, Jerusalem cross above monogram (unique), Plate Coin in Calico and Restrepo. Restrepo-M68.2; CT-1918. 1.33 grams. Choice VF with nice toning, nearly full monogram and cross, bold dot-F-dot to left, dot-S-dot to right, and dot-+-dot above the monogram, also with same F-S arrangement flanking cross but with dot-x-dot below (attributed to the date 1726 by Restrepo and Calico without explanation), a very important coin for the serious Colombian cob enthusiast. Plate Coin on p. 509 of Calico's Numismatica espanola (2001) and on p. 95 of Restrepo's Coins of Colombia (2012).
