Bogota, Colombia, 5 decimos, 1869, with Costa Rica "lion" double countermark (Type VII, 1889, 50 centavos), very rare, PCGS VG detail / cleaned, c/s AU detail. Host: Restrepo-293.2, KM-153.1; c/m: KM-134.2 (on different host). Choice bold countermarks near top rims of a rather wholesome host-coin whose strict grade belies its overall attractiveness (arguably F or even VF in our opinion), with light contrasting toning in legends and only light old marks in weaker centers. PCGS #39227534. Pedigreed to the Nueva Granada Collection (stated on label).
