Blue-and-white glazed Delftware pitcher, intact, bird on leaf motif, ex-pirate ship Golden Fleece (1686). 567 grams. 6½" tall, 5" wide. Charming little Delftware piece, with scenes of trees flanking a bird perched on a leaf, head looking to the sky, a bit of glaze chipped off here and there, some crackling but intact and perfect for display. A small handwritten "35-10" at base indicates it was inventoried by the Dominican government before division with the salvor. From the pirate ship Golden Fleece (1686), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic.
