Black glass "onion" bottle from the 1715 Fleet, ex-Gore. 904 grams, 7" tall x 5-1/4" diameter. Typical "black glass" bottle, completely intact, with many barnacles dotting the sides, top and bottom, an unusual find in this condition from a shipwreck, especially one as important as this. (Note: We recommend pick-up in person for this piece, as shipping could dislodge the barnacles. If winning bidder opts for shipping, we cannot be responsible for any barnacle loss.) From the 1715 Fleet ("Wedge Wreck" site), found by Tommy Gore (state archeologist) in the late 1950s, accompanied by his personal letter.
