ON FOCAS – PERP AVG above a draped and cuirassed bust of Phocas facing, wearing consular robes and crown, holding mappa and cross / VICTORI – A AVGGB flanking angel standing, facing, holding globus cruciger and long staff surmounted by Christogram; in exergue, CONOB. Well centered and lustrous, struck on a full flan, rare type with Phocas holding cross in left hand rather than right.
