BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer not visible (1620s), quadrants of cross transposed, "flat" lions. KM-19a; Cal-Type 327. 26.11 grams. Small, thick flan with bold full cross-lions-castles, nearly full cross, very light surface corrosion and toning (some gold-colored spots). With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
