BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer TR (mid- to late 1630s). S-P27; KM-19a; Cal-Type 327. 25.00 grams. Very bold full •P•TR• to left of choice shield and crown, bold but doubled cross, bottom of 63 of date visible, nicely toned and practically corrosion free (probably struck in low weight). With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
