BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer TR (mid- to late 1630s). KM-19a; Cal-Type 327. 25.27 grams. Full but partially doubled cross with full 3 of date visible, full shield with clear assayer but three odd lacunae on that side, minimal surface corrosion, toned in crevices. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
