BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer TR (late 1630s). S-P27; KM-19a; Cal-Type 327. 26.44 grams. Thick, circular piece with bold partial shield and clear mintmark, assayer a bit weak, doubled yet full cross, quite silvery with dark gray-toned fields. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
