BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer T (mid-1630s). KM-19a; Cal-Type 327. 25.32 grams. Thick and solid flan with no visible corrosion but much flatness, still with good full shield and most of cross, full assayer and denomination, toned on fields. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
