BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer T (late 1620s), "hunched over" lions. S-P24; KM-19a; Cal-Type 327. 25.62 grams. Well-detailed but moderately corroded full shield and (slightly doubled) cross, bold assayer T, most of crown and king's ordinal IIII, no toning. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
