BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer T (early 1630s). KM-19a; Cal-Type 327. 26.82 grams. Bold full shield and cross (both slightly doubled) with parts of legend including king's name and ordinal but without a visible date, full mintmark-assayer, no corrosion, elegantly toned, hairline edge-split. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
