BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer T (early 1630s). S-P26; KM-19a; Cal-Type 327. 26.58 grams. Choice full cross and shield, most of crown but scant legend, clear assayer T, minimal surface pitting on part of obverse only, minor edge-splits, contrastingly toned all over. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his Concepción contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
