BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer T (early 1630s), with cross-fleury ornaments. S-P26; KM-19a; Cal-Type 327. 26.38 grams. Full but doubled cross, nice full shield with clear mintmark-assayer showing a cross-fleury ornament between the P and T, the same ornament boldly visible above the denomination to the left, nicely toned with minimal surface corrosion, deep edge-crack. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
