Excellent full cross-lions-castles and shield with bold denomination •8• to right, only the very top of the assayer visible below full mintmark P to left, attractively toned and practically corrosion-free. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
