BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer P (mid-1620s), quadrants of cross transposed. S-P23; KM-19; Cal-Type 327. 23.70 grams. Nice, solid example with bold full shield and cross (both exhibiting some doubling), clear mintmark and assayer, only minor surface corrosion. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
