BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1655 E, PH at top (no dots), •pomegranate• above cross, ex-Leo. S-P37a; KM-21; Cal-1509. 26.46 grams. Very solid for this wreck with minimal corrosion but somewhat weakly struck, the pillars-and-waves and cross-lions-castles nevertheless full, with king's ordinal IIII, two dates and all three mintmarks and assayers, patches of light gold color. Note: The coins pictured on the certificate are samples and not meant to represent this exact coin (confusing design). With State plastic tag 23,252 and original certificate hand-signed by Peter Leo. Recovered from: “Jupiter Wreck” (San Miguel Arcángel), sunk in 1659 off the east coast of Florida
