BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1652 E, very rare, with crowned-arms countermark on cross, ex-Capitana, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-1492. 20.71 grams. Full date (bisected by edge-split) with particularly bold digit 2 outside of good full cross-and-tressure, the full crown and shield also nice with nearly full countermark at top right, both assayers clear, a bit thin from corrosion but with VF+ details and attractively toned.
