BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1652 E, post-transitional (Transitional Type VIII/B), P/E at top left, 1-PH/HP-6 at top, NGC XF details / saltwater damage (Shipwreck Blue Label), ex-Zbar. S-P37a; KM-21; Cal-1500. 22.50 grams. Round and well centered with nearly full legends but some corrosion, all three dates and mintmarks and assayers, the top-left mintmark boldly punched over an E (first example we have seen, not mentioned in Mastalir), mostly toned. Pedigreed to the Jack Zbar Collection (stated on label). Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island
