BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1651 (modern 5) E, with crowned-o countermark (rare) on cross, ex-Capitana, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-1491. 20.87 grams. Curiously oblong flan with thinning from corrosion but nice VF details from contrasting toning, slightly doubled, both assayers bold flanking the full shield (also king's ordinal IIII in legend), clear date outside of full cross-and-tressure with bold and nearly full countermark on left arm (rare with small o versus large O).
