BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1651 O, with crowned-C, crowned-arms, and unidentified countermarks on cross (extremely rare with three countermarks), ex-Capitana, ex-Hudson, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1489. 18.80 grams. Solid and nicely toned VF despite thinning from corrosion, with choice full crown above shield, full cross with very deep (60%) countermark on bottom arm that caused an edge-crack there, weak (erased?) countermark in upper-left quadrant, and deep partial arms countermark at top edge with associated split and tiny bend.
