BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1651 E/O, with crowned-•F• (four dots) countermark on shield, ex-Maravillas, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-1490. 24.51 grams. Broad-flan VF with practically no corrosion (underweight), very bold full countermark at top of choice shield with full crown above bisected by edge-split, bold •P•E/O• to left and clear •8•E/O• to right, full but weak cross-and-tressure with clear date within full legend on that side, lightly toned all over.
