BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1651 E/O, with crown-alone (rare variety) countermark on cross, ex-Capitana, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-1490. 27.16 grams. Broad-flan AVF with no corrosion but very dark toning all over, bold full •P•E/O• to left and clear •8•E/O• to right of doubled shield, complete date in full legend outside of mostly flat cross with deep (70%) countermark in center, patch of dark "horn silver" on crack near edge.
