BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1651-52) E, with crowned-L countermark on cross. S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-Type 327. 24.02 grams. Thin flan with minor porosity in places, nearly full countermark on bottom-right quadrant of full cross, full but partially flat and off-center shield with bold king's ordinal IIII in legend, contrastingly toned in crevices. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
