BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1651-52) E, with crowned-•F• (two dots) and crown-alone countermarks on shield (very rare with two countermarks), ex-Maravillas, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-Type 327. 26.89 grams. Solid, corrosion-free, broad-flan XF with extensive peripheral flatness (one edge-split) but king's ordinal IIII full nonetheless, choice full shield showing overlapping full countermarks in center, the cross with brockages of those countermarks in the same place, traces of toning in crevices.
