BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1651-52) E, with crowned-C and crown-alone countermark on shield (very rare with two countermarks), ex-Capitana, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P36; KM-19b; Cal-Type 327. 20.39 grams. Moderately corroded but with clear full shield and cross (Fine overall, nicely toned), both countermarks clear (the crown-alone near center and the scarce crowned-C to right), edge-split. From the Capitana (1654), pedigreed to the Luis R.
