BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1650 (Spanish 5) O, with two crowned-C countermarks on cross (very rare with two countermarks), ex-Capitana, ex-Hudson, ex-Ponte, KM and Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1488. 24.86 grams. Solid and not overly corroded but with much crude flatness and two edge-cracks (About Fine overall), bold date 50 outside of full cross with nearly full countermarks in center and at bottom right, both assayers visible, toned in crevices. From the Capitana (1654), pedigreed to the Louis Hudson Collection (Sedwick Auction 6, lot 305) and the Luis R.
