BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1650 (Spanish 5) O, with crowned-•PH• countermark on shield, ex-Capitana, ex-Hudson, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1488. 26.29 grams. Exceptionally broad flan (previously described by us as "choice and Royal-like") with 100% full details in XF grade, deeply toned all over, the edge a little rough (as made) but practically uncorroded, nearly full countermark (scarce) and mostly bold date. From the Capitana (1654), pedigreed to the Louis Hudson Collection (Sedwick Auction 6,lot 304) and the Luis R.
