BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1650 (Spanish 5) O, with crowned-L countermark on cross, ex-Capitana, ex-McClung, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1488. 25.33 grams. Round flan with mostly flat peripheries except for bold full date outside of full cross-and-tressure with bold countermark at bottom, good full shield with both assayers clear, lightly toned and nearly corrosion-free VF. From the Capitana (1654), pedigreed to the Rob McClung Collection (Sedwick Auction 15, lot 475) and the Luis R.
