BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1650 O, with crowned-T and crowned-L countermarks on cross (very rare with two countermarks), ex-Capitana, ex-McClung, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1488. 20.87 grams. New-style shield and cross with bottom of 0 of date outside of full cross with clear countermarks at bottom left and center right, nearly full shield with both assayers, VF+ details but a bit thin from corrosion and with slightly crude edge (two splits), toned in crevices. From the Capitana (1654), pedigreed to the Rob McClung Collection (Sedwick Auction 14, lot 474) and the Luis R.
