BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1650) O, with crowned-•PH• countermark on shield, ex-Capitana, ex-Hudson, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1488. 27.19 grams. Solid and corrosion-free (AVF) with scarce full countermark near left side of full shield (old style) with prominent crown above, •P-O• to left and 8-O to right, full but weaker cross (also old style), light contrasting toning, edge-split. From the Capitana (1654), pedigreed to the Louis Hudson Collection (Sedwick Auction 6, lot 323) and the Luis R.
