BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1650-51) O, with crowned-arms countermark on shield. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-Type 327. 25.35 grams. Nearly full shield with clear assayer to left below nearly full crown, to the right of which is a very deep partial countermark in a crude thin area of the edge (corroded) that is slightly split, bent, and blunted, the cross also full but weakly struck, lightly toned all over. With original MAREX tag and photo-certificate 91-8R-0701. Recovered from: Maravillas, sunk in 1656 off Grand Bahama Island
