BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1649 (O), with two crowned-L countermarks on cross (very rare with two countermarks), ex-Capitana, ex-Hudson, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1487. 20.43 grams. Bold but off-center cross with countermarks (each about 75%) at top right and bottom left, most of 49 date in legend, weaker full shield but bold bottom of crown, thin from corrosion (net Fine) with contrasting toning. From the Capitana (1654), pedigreed to the Louis Hudson Collection (Sedwick Auction 6, lot 300) and the Luis R.
