BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, 1649 O, with crowned-S countermark on shield, ex-Capitana, ex-Ponte, Mastalir Plate. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1487. 24.41 grams. Round and solid flan with rich toning all over, AVF with only light surface corrosion, full shield with nearly full (scarce) countermark at top and bold •P-O• and •8• to sides, full but weaker cross with clear 64 of date.
